\"\"<\/a>For boys varsity basketball senior Justyn Rogers, his final season on the team is bittersweet. \u201cI\u2019ve had love for the game of basketball for the past fourteen years of my life\u201d Rogers (VI) said. At the beginning of the season, Rogers said the team struggled to play as a cohesive unit. However, the team quickly figured out how to work together and \u201cas more and more games go by, the team constantly gets better and better, and learns how to play with one another,\u201d Rogers said.<\/span><\/p>\n

With half of \u00a0the season already over, Rogers explained that the team\u2019s biggest challenge is staying consistent. The team has had trouble controlling the game. However, \u201clike the first challenge we had in the beginning of the season, I think we will overcome it soon,\u201d Rogers said.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So far, Rogers\u2019 favorite moment of the season was \u201cseeing his four coaches smiling from ear-to-ear\u201d after the team had a major comeback, beating Dalton by 11 points. \u201c<\/span>That was the toughest game we played this year and possibly one of the best too.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When asked what is next on the team\u2019s agenda, Rogers said he was looking forward to a victorious team. To him, victorious does not simply mean being undefeated. It means \u201cfinishing first in everything and learning how to play with one another.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, Rogers explained that league games are always something to look forward to. \u201cWinning those games is a great feeling, and always a huge momentum booster going into the next game.\u201d said Rogers. He always has a winning mentality and his drive is stronger than ever. Rogers says, \u201csince this is my last year playing Fieldston Basketball, I know that this could possibly be the last time I step foot in that gym, and it motivates me to give it my all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
