The power couple first began a romantic relationship sometime during the summer of 2023, their first public sighting being the NFL star attending her Eras Tour. There are various speculations about when their relationship actually took off, given the duo\u2019s attempts to keep their lives private \u2014a difficult feat due to their immense fame. The two were often spotted supporting each other at their events; Swift at his football games and Kelce at her concerts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple announced their engagement on August 16th, 2025, posting a photo of a romantic garden scene and the engagement ring on Facebook with the caption “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The post immediately took the internet by storm, with millions of views, likes and reposts.
