Bea and Will have been friends since Pre-k, which is almost 14 years now.\u00a0 Their moms\u2019 close friendship\u2013 fostered at Fieldston decades ago\u2013brought them together. They have seen Fieldston through many eras (#bringbackthetree), and represent their favorite part of the school\u2013the community. They want to give back to the school, not by fixing it, but by making minor adjustments that will enrich the Fieldston experience. We need you to do this. Together, we Will Bea the best!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Winter and spring pep rallies + spirit weeks<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Better celebrations for NYSAIS\/conference winners (e.g., captain and coach dunk tanks, pi\u00f1atas and Walks of Fame on the quad)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– School athlete merch available for purchase throughout the year (jerseys, etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Stricter testing calendar (similar to Middle School: teachers must post tests on the calendar at least a week in advance)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Stricter grading deadlines  (teachers can take a maximum of one month to grade an assignment)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      ID system<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

       – Create a system where the IDs can be scanned instead of given to the guard, and the student would just be labeled as “off-campus.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Create a phone application that would function as an ID and scan to label the student as “off-campus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Food<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – School food menu will be updated based on more student feedback<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Breakfast open through Advisory<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – Friday Lunch will be voted on weekly by Upper School students<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Community service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      – More incentives to donate to CSAB-IT drives through donation competitions between grades, with prizes like no-homework weekends<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          – For advertisements, performances, job hirings, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
