To The Editors,
I have read a lot of Fieldston News articles in my life. I even edited and wrote a few (back in the Stone Age). While my emotions are running high today, I dare say Ms. Chitkara’s article on the 9/11 Museum is one of the best I can recall. This article represents the very best of Fieldston’s student journalism – independently sourced, inquisitive, deeply empathetic — and extremely well written.
As an alumna and a parent of a middle schooler, it is extremely heartening to see that our upper schoolers look at history, apply those lessons to their present and tell a beautiful story.
