HELLO FIELDSTON!!!
We are Ella and Kai, and we are so excited to announce our campaign for FSG co-presidents! We know you will be reading a bunch of these, so we will make this short, sweet and straight to the point. Kai and I have been at Fieldston for 25 years combined, so we know a thing or two about the school.
Here is a list of all the things we hope to do as your future FSG co-presidents:
INITIATIVES!!!!!
Community:
- Adding a Winter and Spring Pep Rally → It’s no fair that only the fall sports have to do a dance for the whole school. Let’s watch every team dance, no matter the season!
- Affinity Groups → One affinity group “retreat” (ie. in-school field trip, after-school event) a semester.
- Continue the Parking Raffle → We are going to continue the parking raffle, but now you will be able to give your parking pass to someone else.
Academic:
- Finals Study Breaks → We know finals are the most stressful time of the year. We want to ease the stress as much as possible by giving opportunities for study breaks on study day.
- Student Panels → We know the thought of schedules, grades, extracurriculars, and college is stressful. We want students in all grades to be able to ask older students questions.
We want to prioritize YOUR feedback, so none of the initiatives above are set in stone.
