Hi Fieldston! We are Juliette Reed and Owen Larson, and we are running to be your next FSG Co-Presidents. If you haven’t seen our names in Gus Ornstein’s barrage of emails, we both compete for Fieldston’s track team. The dedication we have toward fostering a fair, fun, and organized school and student body is equal to the effort we put forth on the track day in and day out. It is our job to make sure that you, the students, are not only happy and thriving but also have the agency to request change when need be. Like a relay team competing in the Olympics, it’s a team effort to fulfill your needs, so below our are initiatives we plan to implement:
- Longer breakfast (Till 9:45 instead of 9)
- Movie Mondays in the commons during A+B band
- Improving the use of Google Classroom (Mandatory for teachers to report all grades to Google Classroom.
- Form for issues and concerns that you want to try and be resolved by the presidents
- Weekly email of events that occurred (such as News and Notes but more student friendly)
- A second Pep Rally
- A homecoming dance
- Better snack system (Put more snack stations around the school, not just in the 500s building)
- Parking for students
These initiatives we are taking very seriously and will do everything in our power to implement all of these. Thank you and please vote Juliette and Owen for FSG!
