There was a big turnout with 117 people showing up and 79 people donating blood resulting in 75 units of blood to be given away. This is Fieldston’s second highest record of blood donation. The remaining 38 were unable to donate due to colds, recent travel, weight limits, or slight anemia, which are all common. Last year, Fieldston donated a record of 86 pints.
